Random Saturday.

How productive was today?

I taught Molly to drive a car....

I went and canned sugar with my mom. Who knew you could can sugar? That was rather interesting.

And I took my mom and went to hang out on a movie set with my friend, Yeniffer. (She wasn't filming today, her adorable little boy was.)

Rather fun day. :)

Inspiration

I've kinda sucked at posting what I'm thankful for each week...I'm trying to be better about it. :)

I chose two people for my thankful for this week because they both are such tremendous inspiration to me.

Every time I talk to Kent and Minae, they talk about the goals they have laid out for themselves, for the steps they are taking to succeed in the challenges of life, and the way they are conquering their fears. They have the most beautiful souls and the inspiration they provide me is amazing. They faith they have in me is empowering and there are really just no words to describe the impact they have had in my life since the day I met them.

Best and worst dressed at the Oscars

So here we go...
The Best Dressed
Jennifer Aniston...absolutely glowing.

Kate Winslet...she looked stunning and had one of the best acceptance speeches of the evening.

Taraji Hensen...such a classy lady!

And last but never least, Angelina Jolie -- Stunning! Graceful!

The Worst Dressed:
Jessica Biel. Did she roll out of bed and just show up?

And what the heck was Beyonce thinking???

As for the men:
Let's just get Mickey Rourke out of the way. Horrible!!

007 never looked so debonair. Daniel Craig.

Robert Downey Jr.

The always hot, Brad Pitt.

The host looking gorgeous, Hugh Jackman.

Thoughts, anyone?

Oscar Time!

I love the Oscars! I absolutely adore watching the red carpet, seeing what people are wearing (or not wearing), and just love the glamor of it all.

And this year we have a GORGEOUS host in Hugh Jackman, who is just all around charming. :)

My best dressed pick so far is the very beautiful Kate Winslet.

Best dressed couple, without a doubt, is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie...they are just a very beautiful, sexy couple. And tonight they are shining.

La-La-La!

Music is my world. I always have music on. (Okay, yes partly because I hate being in a quiet room and can't sleep without the radio on.) For every high and low moment in my life, I guarantee you that there is a song that I have attached to it. A few notes of a song can bring a memory crashing back in. It is how I am.

I'm watching the Grammy's tonight and loving these performances. I would put up my Facebook updates but they are just random thoughts of what is going on on the TV and probably will make sense to no one else that isn't in the moment watching it. There have been some amazing performances tonight from some of the best talent in the world. There have been some questionable combinations (Yes, I am talking Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder). And there have been some shocking wins.

Anyone else watching? What was your favorite performance of the night?

Cinema?

Seen any good movies lately? I try to go at least once a week to the movies as it is one of my favorite things to do. I may be in the minority but I really enjoy going to the movies by myself. I'm guaranteed to see the movie that I want to see, I'm able to decide where I want to sit and not have to worry the other person doesn't want those seats, and I really just enjoy submerging myself in a dark theater for a couple of hours and just watch the story unfold on the big screen. (If the theater has a slight chill to it it is even better.)

2009 is shaping up to be a good movie season so far. :) This weekend's movie of choice is He's just not that into you and I can't wait!! The cast looks amazing and the previews have had me hooked from the get go.

On the tv side of things..."Grey's Anatomy" still continues to be the best show on television this season. Next weeks episode looks pretty heart wrenching with Addison coming back from Los Angeles to beg Derek (McDreamy) to save her husband.

"LOST" is back and as confusing as always. I love the show. I do have a slight problem with it, though. If I get the slightest bit distracted while it is on I find that I tend to miss something imperative to getting what is happening and spend the rest of the show...lost. I'm starting to piece together some answers, though.

"General Hospital", my favorite soap, is getting pretty interesting with February sweeps taking off with this whole bio-toxin storyline. Granted it is just a way to clean some of the cast up and try to solve the budget issues that the show has, but it is pretty good so far.

And CBS continues to own me on Monday nights with the comedy line up of "Big Bang Theory" & "How I met your mother".

Then we have American Idol...oy!

Super Bowl Thoughts!

A Journey minus Steve Perry singing my favorite song ever ("Don't stop believing") ruined the song for me! =\

Faith Hill & Jennifer Hudson sang beautifully.

Awww, look. Puppies on the Puppy Bowl!!!

Kurt Warner is truly deserving of the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.

"G.I. Joe" is going to be a great movie!

Big Ben's touchdown was a thing of beauty!

The Cardinals touchdown was great!!

Budweiser has the best commercials ever.

"Fast and Furious" with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker -- the team is back!

The 100 yard touchdown by the Steelers was AMAZING!!

Bruce Springsteen can still rock!

"Glory Days" is my fave song of his, but I really expected to hear "Born in the USA".

Kitty Half Time show!!! Awww! Meow!!

Back to the game we go!

OMG! Larry Fitzgerald did great!

Eeep! Cards in the lead!!!

Here comes Big Ben and The Steelers.

Touchdown!!

Steelers Win!!!

The Cardinals did a FABULOUS job and did themselves and Arizona proud.

I still think Big Ben is hot.

Great game.
